Advisory Council

A circle of trusted advisors helping expand safety, dignity, and opportunity across Africa.

Circle of Collaboration

The Diamond Mine Academy Advisory Council brings together thoughtful individuals who share a commitment to building sustainable solutions for vulnerable communities.

Our advisors provide guidance, perspective, and connections that help expand awareness, strengthen partnerships, and grow the network of support behind our mission.

This council is designed to be a circle of collaboration, where experienced voices contribute wisdom, encouragement, and strategic insight.


Purpose of the Advisory Council

The Advisory Council helps Diamond Mine Academy:

• Expand awareness of the mission
• Connect with potential supporters and partners
• Offer thoughtful guidance on emerging opportunities
• Strengthen the long-term sustainability of our work

Advisory Council members are not responsible for daily operations.

Their role is to serve as trusted advisors, connectors, and champions of the mission.


Participation

Advisory Council members are invited to participate in:

• Monthly Zoom gatherings (45–60 minutes)
• Occasional introductions to people who may want to support the work
• Sharing updates or campaigns with their networks when inspired to do so

These conversations are designed to be informal, inspiring, and collaborative.


Who We Are Looking For

We welcome advisors who bring:

• A passion for humanitarian work and human dignity
• Strong networks in community, faith, nonprofit, business, or advocacy spaces
• Practical insight and thoughtful perspective
• A desire to help build solutions that last

You do not need to donate money to serve as an advisor.
Your experience, relationships, and perspective are the most valuable contributions.
